About Us
Who are we?
Suffolk Christian Camps is non-profit making organisation led by a committee of Christians from evangelical churches in Suffolk.
Our aim is 3-fold:
1. To enable people to enjoy a good holiday in a
relaxed and friendly Christian environment.
2. For people to clearly hear the good news of God's
love and salvation in a relevant way so that they may experience His
forgiveness.
3. For Christians to see their time at camp as a
milestone in their walk with God, as their relationship with The
Lord is developed and strengthened.
Three separate camps are held each summer:
Junior Camp for 10-14 year olds
Summer Madness for 15-19 year olds
Family Camp for any of the younger
generation, toddlers to teenagers, accompanied by their parents,
guardians or grand-parents.
The first camp was organized over 50 years ago and has grown ever since.
Many people return year after year, commenting how they have had an enjoyable time.
Suffolk Christian Camps organizes fun and safe summer camps which provide an opportunity for Christian encouragement and teaching.
Suffolk Christian Camps are first and foremost for people living in Suffolk in the UK. In exceptional circumstances we may consider allocating places to people from outside of Suffolk, this usually happens when places are still available just a few weeks before the camps start.
Child Protection
All those involved in the leadership of the camp are committed Christians who have the interest and welfare of your children at heart. Activities are carefully supervised. Suffolk Christian Camps operates a Child Protection Policy.
